Day to Day Responsibilities:
Work with worldwide team to develop, implement and migrate glass measurements and equipment for improve precision, accuracy and reliability.
Provide guidance/training to other personnel on how to perform testing properly.
Use engineering principles and data to provide second level assistance to help solve operational issues.
Equipment issue treatment and troubleshooting.
Support and approve experiments.
Raw material quality control& closely communication with worldwide team
Measure raw material /glass sample for physical and chemistry data
Evaluate statistical control for composition measurements and associated need for batch adjustments
Recipe management and reduce variability
Improve and maintain Lab system and equipment stability
Co work with worldwide team for process improvement and trial.
Safety, 5S, PCPD
Backup for routine measurement of chemical/physical property
Education & Experience
Experiment / manufacturing/engineering environment experience
Bachelor or above degree in Chemistry, Chemical, Material discipline is prefer
Required Skills
Good English capability (verbal and written)
Strong Office and PC operation skills Familiar SPC tool
Experience with Six Sigma / DMAIC principles is prefer
Strong communication and execution skills
Knowledge of ISO management system & Quality assurance
Knowledge of process data-drive, and root cause finding
Continue improvement and active learning.
Key measurement equipment troubleshooting skill and management experience such as ICP/XRF/ICP-MS.
Lab management experiences is prefer
